Program Description
This intensive module (together with the Assessor course) forms the core unit standards of the Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practices. It provides the subject matter expert with everything they need to know about imparting their skills effectively, from providing information to learners to effective delivery in the classroom.
Target Audience
This module is for those involved in education, training and development, and who are required to have an understanding of OBET and the NQF. It will provide recognition for those who facilitate or intend to facilitate leaning using a variety of given methodologies, and where formal recognition will enhance their employability and also provide a means to identify competent learning facilitators. Furthermore, those who provide guidance and advice to learners about their learning, assessment and recognition opportunities will find this module useful, as well as those who provide a basic level of support and assistance to learners about their learning and assessment needs and evaluate learning programs or courses, whether internally or externally.
