Shareholders
Tanya Kisten has been the Managing Director of Khanyisela Training (Pty) Ltd since 1 January 2007 and is a registered Assessor, Moderator, Skills Development Facilitator and Education, Training and Development Practitioner. Furthermore, she has a Master's degree in Communication from New York University in addition to a Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from Rhodes University which led to her being a successful school teacher for almost eight years before moving into the private sector. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Business Administration which has enhanced her management skills at the helm of Khanyisela Training (Pty) Ltd. Tanya brings with her six years' experience in the marketing industry in addition to almost three years' of corporate training with a multi-national company in the Eastern Cape and was an education in public service for seven years. Tanya writes much of the training materials and develops assessment tools (including competency-based assessments) in addition to managing the college.
Roger Peters, the Training Manager, is a registered Assessor, Moderator, Skills Development Facilitator and Education, Training and Development Practitioner. He also enhances the company skills base with his Bachelor's degree in teacher training from Rhodes University as well as an Honour's degree in Group Dynamics from NMMU. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Business Administration which greatly adds to his theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of his duties of the core business. Roger has more than twenty years of experience training in fields as diverse as schools, corporate and psychiatric services. Roger has developed and oversees mentoring of all new recruits and interns as well as all training interventions, both internally and externally, assessments and moderations as well as accreditations and Memoranda of Understanding with the various SETA's and accrediting bodies. Roger is also the Chief Internal Moderator.
Dicky Britton, a Management Consultant who owns a management consultancy, Siyakha Management and Empowerment Agency, and a recent shareholder in Khanyisela Training (Pty) Ltd, brings with him several decades worth of experience. Dicky is a retired principal who has a Master's degree from the Universities of Durban Westville and South Carolina in school management and is currently enrolled for a PhD at NMMU, adequately equipping him to act in an advisory capacity to the management team at the college. In addition, he has lectured at NMMU, written and trained leadership development and personal development skills programs at various non-profit organisations and corporations, as well serving as the chairperson on the local land reclamation board in Port Elizabeth. Dicky also contributes to the numerous mentoring programs and leadership training programs that occurs at the institution.
Management
Khanyisela Training's competent Office Manager, Marlon Siljeur, comes with many years' experience in customer service. His professional manner and competent problem solving ability ensures that customers' needs are met according to quality standards and timeously. Marlon is a registered Assessor and has more than a decade of experience in the service and financial industries.
Administration Team
Khanyisela Training's Marketing Coordinator, Cindy Mclean is in possession of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and a can-do attitude which equip her more than competently for this role. She has managed our customers and suppliers for more than a year, having grown into this role as a newly appointed intern. Cindy has shown prowess as a Marketer, despite her degree in Human Resources and ensures that all marketing functions are attended to soundly.

Weziwe Njanjala-Gqabi, our capable Administration Coordinator, comes armed with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration as well as two years' experience in an office environment. Wezi's no-nonsense attitude and attention to detail ensures that Khanyisela Training's administrative systems are kept running like clockwork. In the less than two years that she has been part of Khanyisela Training, she has grown out of the role of intern, and formulated firm relationships with key role players to ensure that critical deadlines are met. Wezi is also a registered Assessor and Skills development Facilitator, and will soon be competent as a Moderator.

Training Administrator, Chiko Zhakata, hails from Zimbabwe with a Bachelor's degree in English and Theology and joined Khanyisela Training as a very capable graduate intern. Her language ability was soon recognised and not only does Chiko assist with the layout and design of our training materials, but she has already written a few poems for significant events, not least of which was our 2010 graduation. Chiko is a registered Assessor and provides support for the learners in the form of reminders to complete their portfolios.
Our Financial and Office Administrator, Beauty Ntshona, has a calming and capable nature which makes a competent contribution to the support administration at Khanyisela Training. Beauty has competent skills in computers and planning which assist with her support of the Office Manager and Managing Director. Beauty approaches all that she does with enthusiasm and attention to detail and her loyalty is highly valued at the organisation.
Kitchen Support
Lungiswa Madonci or Mama Lungi as she is fondly known by everyone, culinary expertise has become legendary with people who have crossed our paths. With her chef's course in hand and having grown her cuisine repertoire over the last four years, Mama Lung's lip-smacking meals and bakes have grown into home industry, with Mama Lungi now catering to several of our clients and local businesses for light meals and delectable baked goods.
Nandi Mgwadleka, currently the resident Housekeeper tackles her tasks thoroughly and competently. She has shown a natural ability for office administration, assisting willingly with basic administrative tasks whenever she has a free moment. Nandi is learning basic computer skills as well and hopes to join the next Business Administration training program in the near future. Nandi has already completed a Financial Life Skills program at Khanyisela training.
