Khanyisela Training History

Khanyisela Training was established in 2003 by Craig and Juliet Pannell through a demand from their then recruitment and Human Resources consultancy businesses which had been in operation since 2000.

Due to the growth of these businesses, the shareholders took a strategic decision to specialise their future business activities. It was then decided that all training and related functions would in future be offered under the name Khanyisela Training cc.

When the couple decided to sell their businesses in 2006, Tanya Kisten was working at Khanyisela Training cc as the Marketing and Training Manager, and offered to purchase this business as a 47.5% shareholder. Brian Booysen was brought on board as a 47.5% shareholder together with Roger Peters who also filled the position of Training Manager, as a 5% shareholder.

In 2008, the shareholders decided to register Khanyisela Training with the Department of Education in order to trade as a private FET college, and because of this converted the business to a private company, or (Pty) Ltd.

Today, the company has grown in staff, stature and reputation, as well as offering, income and brand value. We look forward to the years ahead.
